Notes:
Chief goes in for his dental on September 4th.

Can you spell expensive!?!  Chief's dental needs are so extensive the work had to split into two appointments.  Awe, poor Chief.  Years of neglect by a former owner has caused our sweet little boy years of pain and discomfort.

Only half of his dental needs were tended on 9/4 - the worst side was addressed first to relieve discomfort.  Pus pockets and bone loss were found in and around several teeth necessitating the extraction of four teeth. Fortunately Dr. Stapleton was able to salvage Chief's canines. Total cost of this appointment:  $952.48 -

Thanks to two awesome fosters, Rick and Heather, the second half of Chief's dental was completed 9/29. Heather made the long traffic congested trip from the I80 area, and back home again, a total of 3 times to deliver Chief to these much needed appointments in Barrington. Just the time alone is a huge contribution to NISA's rescue program and I do thank Heather so much!

Unfortunately, this sweet little Sammie had additional pus pockets and bone loss on this side of his mouth too. The end result is the extraction of two more teeth on the right side which makes a combined total loss of 6 very important teeth need for survival. Total cost of appointment number two: $405.48.

Thank God for great fosters, Sammie Saviors and generous supporters!
