The event will be held outdoors at the Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital site located at 450 W Hwy 22 in Barrington, IL. from 11AM. to 3 PM. on Sunday, October 5, 2008. We will start the day off with opening ceremonies, followed by the group walk & presentation of pledge prizes, canine demonstrations, a canine costume contest, raffles, a kids activity booth, vendors, adoptable dogs of all sizes and breeds, and more. And, at some point in our lives we’ve all been touched by the number of homeless animals housed in shelters and county pounds.
