Source:   Owner relinquished to a local shelter the day after Easter and the day before her birthday. How sad is that?

Appearance:  Coat is clipped, needs a bath, has lick granuloma on left rear leg.

Incoming physical condition:   Grossly obese at 81#, HW neg. vaccinations are current, spayed female.

Estimated age:  DOB: 4-10-2002

Temperament:  Extremely sweet natured. Nervous about brushing, turns head and wiggles away as if to avoid being struck with the brush. Doesn't mind being combed.

Training:  Knows sit, down, shake and, sometimes, come. Relinquish form said she is crate trained and lived with a child under 10.

Notes:  
 A true chow hound and will raid the kitchen garbage if given the chance. Loves chew bones, toys, and very compatible with dogs. Frightened of kitty-cats. Has a slight limp on left rear leg, which may be due to a partial AC tear, x-ray results were inconclusive.

Barks or rings bell at door to go out. Loves to lounge on the deck or under our apple tree. "Keeps the squirrels at bay!"  Will also bark for attention/treats which we're trying very hard not to reinforce but with a face like that and her cute tail wag it sure isn't easy.
