Incoming: June 30, 2007

Source:   Macon County Animal Control

Appearance:  Had been bathed by Jim Cooley before delivery. Look good!

Incoming physical condition:   Hook and Whip worms, camphylobactor, giardia and coccidia parasites.  Weight 23#

Estimated age:   Estimated age 4.5 months

Temperament:  Timid and somewhat fearful. Understandable considering their age although Spirit is the most stand-offish of the two.

Training:   None

Notes:  Reported as litter mates, in spite of distinct appearance differences, by County office. All behaviors confirm that opinion. Very attached to each other!!

These are two of the sweetest little, yes at 43# of solid muscle they are the smallest in our house. Spirit loves to snuggle any where any time, just name it and he's there in a flash. Invited or not!

Niki is a busy Lizzy, always moving, always with a toy in her mouth, always woo-wooing. She would fetch a ball all day long or until her heart stopped. Anything that moves catches her eye and it's hers. I see an excellent agility partner, Frisbee dog or both!!

These two are like Energizer bunnies!  From dawn to dusk it's perpetual play and yes they will get into mischief if you don't check on them periodically. Both are extremely sensitive to verbal discipline so it's wise to temper back any harsh tone of voice.
